Everyone wants PR – or rather, everyone loves the idea of free publicity. After all, there is no better communications function for an organization as cost effective as public relations, even with a general uptick in the use of paid media as part of PR efforts. However, not all startup companies, organizations or individuals are making enough recurring profit to hire a PR firm.
I seriously believe it is vital for any size of company to be able to deeply connect with their community & ideal audience. I know a lot of entrepreneurs who are confused by exactly what I mean by building community and if community is even possible within your own brand.
During the Build Your Brand Conference 2018, we not only proved it was possible to create community for any brand but enforced how critical it is to speak to your ideal clientele. Think about each brand you love. YOU are the community, you are the fan base they have won over, you are investing and supporting THEM!
In order to be successful, I’ve found it’s important to not “wing” it, especially when it comes to your marketing plan – which is your direct line of communication to new and future customers.
You need to wear that CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) hat every once in a while. This involves being proactive and doing a little planning up front while moving away from randomness & inconsistency.
We can gladly check off our first stop on the road for our Ultimate Coffee + Conversation, in Carlsbad, CA where our community was generously hosted in the warehouse of Tiffany and Chelsea of Witty Rentals. We had an amazing turnout of over forty women join us, their excitement in their smiles & their ears eagerly awaiting to hear the stories of our panelists.
As we embarked on the New Year, we wanted to start the year off strong by being mentally refreshed and motivated!
We started our lovely weekend settling into a 15 bedroom Estate in Temecula Wine Country, located on 13 acres. Once we all arrived and got ourselves settled in the beautiful estate, we gathered around a bonfire. Sharing some laughs and getting to know each other, we chatted past sunset.
